Overview

Chris is an experienced psychologist at 3 Big Things. Chris has over 20 years of experience working as a practicing psychologist across various government and non-government settings. Throughout his career, Chris has held several key positions, including Senior Psychologist, Supervisor, Clinical Advisor, Principal Psychologist, Service Manager, and Associate Tutor. In April 2022, he founded 3 Big Things, driven by his passion for improving the mental health and wellbeing of New Zealanders.

Skills and Experience

Chris trained in Scotland and registered as a Psychologist in New Zealand in 2001. He has completed additional training in Sleep Assessment and Interventions, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma Therapy and Assessment, Autism, Disability, Positive Behaviour Support, Professional Supervision, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. 

Chris holds a current annual practicing certificate and is a member of the NZ Psychology Society. His extensive experience and expertise enable him to offer evidence-based solutions and practical support to individuals and organisations seeking to enhance mental health and wellbeing.
