Sean Versteegh (Psychologist)
Overview
As well as working as a clinical psychologist and clinical advisor Sean has managed New Zealand's largest private psychology service, overseeing a team of over 250 psychologists and allied health professionals throughout Aotearoa.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours at Flinders University) and a Master of Psychology (University of Adelaide). Sean has been a registered psychologist for over 15 years, holds a current annual practicing certificate within the clinical scope and is a member of the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
Skills and Experience
Sean has completed training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Positive Behaviour Support, Motivational Interviewing, professional supervision, neurodiversity, and disability.
Sean has worked extensively within high-performing executive teams, developing a keen understanding of the importance of promoting wellbeing in the workplace.
He is dedicated to using his expertise to improve mental health outcomes and promote equity for individuals and communities across Aotearoa.
